Thats all well and good but until the banks pass low interest rates onto consumers it makes sense to get the best deal you can and at the moment its at some dealers. I just bought a fiesta with my wife and my bank were miles off what the car place could do and when I went on comparison sites still no one would give me a good rate. I worked out it saved me £20 per month over 5 years, that's alot of money and I got a great deal on the car, if they still made a profit then what are the other lenders making with their higher rates!!

I think its clear to many that where your able to get a discount on the vehicle sale price this is then balanced with the finance deal from the dealer. In essence they make up for the price discount in commission they earn on the finance deal. Its always better to get your finance at a different place than the dealership.
