Drop tops and summer sales

Posted on July 5th, 2010 by MTI in Car Dealers, Consumer

The traditional convertible season has got into its usual busy stride with prices at a premium and our auction insiders telling of cars bucking the market and fetching way above guide values. Of course it still remains that examples of cars with high spec, good colour and low mileage are the real ‘halo’ cars in this sector.

Buyers are doing the right thing and shopping on price and quality, with many dealers reporting distance enquiries and buyers travelling to save a few quid, something we at MTI obviously advocate.

Saving money and reducing overall costs will be key for consumers buying decisions whatever the product but especially with big ticket items like cars. So with many dealers kicking off summer sales, value for money will be vital as will ensuring that stock is presented in its absolute best condition and is priced competitively to the market.
