Insurance firm Aviva is hoping to attract customers to its MultiCar product through various social media platforms.
Aviva has launched its inventive and engaging social media campaign on Facebook and YouTube, backed up with a national TV advertising campaign, all aimed at showing potential customers how they can save money on car insurance with the “MultiCar” product.
Devised around the fictional character “Ollie Campbell”, Aviva has created a number of games which people can play on the firm’s Facebook page and a series of special YouTube films – all fronted by the Fast Show favourite, comedian Paul Whitehouse.
The idea of the campaign centres on keen angler Ollie who managed to save money on his car insurance bill thanks to Aviva’s MultiCar insurance, leaving him more money to indulge in his favourite hobby.
Potential Customers can log access Aviva’s Facebook page and take a look around Ollie’s garage where they can play an arcade-like game called “MultiCarp” for a chance to win one of 5 tickets to the Aviva Premiership Rugby Final. In another part of Ollie’s garage, Facebook users can create their own personalised song with “Colin the Carp” and then share their melody with their friends and family.
Exclusive video previews of the national TV adverts featuring the versatile Paul Whitehouse can also be accessed via Aviva’s YouTube channel.
